About the Minister

Pete O’ Leary Pastor/Minister

Pastor Pete has been serving here at The Christian Church At Holbrook since June of 1997. He attended Kentucky Christian University in Grayson Kentucky from 1992 -1997. Pastor Pete has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in Homiletics & Preaching, Bible and Christian Education.

Pastor Pete’s walk with the Lord began in March of 1980 as a result of being the best man at a friends wedding at the Southern Heights Christian Church in Somerset Kentucky. He made Southern Heights his home church and over the twelve year period he was there he served as a Sunday School Teacher for both a Young Adults Class and Senior High School Youth Group. Pastor Pete became a Church Deacon in 1984 and then a Church Elder in 1988.

During this time Pastor Pete was employed with the Kingsford Products Company in Burnside Kentucky. He held the position of Packaging Line Operator and work in various leadership and training roles.

Pastor Pete has been married to his wife Debbie since April 15, 1978. Debbie has been teaching third Grade in New York City since September 2001, at George Lindsay Elementary School (PS 250) in Brooklyn.  Pastor Pete & Debbie have three Children;

• Danielle, the eldest, married Glenn Spataro on January 21, 2006. Glen and Danielle have one daughter, Alathea. Danielle is an NYU graduate and currently works at a law firm in Garden City, New York.
• Derek is the middle and only boy. Derek enlisted in the United States Marines Corps immediately upon graduating high school and is currently deployed in Iraq until May of 2008.
• Allison is the youngest and she graduated from Sachem North High School in June of 2007 and currently attends Long Island University; C. W. Post Campus where she is studying to be a History teacher and compete on the University Cross Country Team in the fall
