30 Hour Famine

The 30 HOUR FAMINE was awesome! Fri, June 17th - Sat, June 18th, we fasted for 30 hours to raise money and awareness for the children of Haiti who are suffering from hunger. 20 of those hours were spent together at the church at a lock-in. From 6:00pm Friday - 2:30pm Saturday, we participated in the game of TRIBE, and we journeyed back to the epicenter of Haiti's earthquake. As we took on the identity of some of Haiti's real-life survivors, we learned what it takes to survive, recover, and rebuild after disaster. We also were excited to learn how World Vision put our funds to work helping feed and care for Haiti's children!
